I was commissioned to develop multiple illustrations into a hand-drawn book as a hand-out for a Call of Cthulhu RPG campaign. The purpose here was to explore the premise that Corbitt, a very old mage, had numerous contacts with the hideous creatures of the Cthulhu Mythos lore and the more he absorbed the forbidden knowledge of the unspeakable entities, the more insane he became. All his experiences were written by himself in his grimoire in order to pass on what was left in human ignorance for a long time...
